United Staging can provide full turn- key production services. We are able to offer this through the engagement of selected sub contractors. Hiring United Staging as the primary contractor has many benefits. It allows us to bring into the event the sub contractor best suited for the clients' needs. Also, it puts United Staging in charge of the event as a whole; enabling us to produce an efficient event by utilizing the crew and equipment to its optimal potential and efficiency. All this means that United Staging can pass substantial savings on to its clients. Remember, as the main contractor, we can provide Lighting, Sound, Scenic, and Labor.
Production rigging is a service that United Staging has been providing since the company's inception. This entails oversight of rigging plots, installation, point load verification, implementation of proper use and practices, pre hang inspection of any suspended equipment, safe lifting practices, load out of equipment and post production management.
Due to the extensive training we provide, and the experience each staff member brings with them, we can insure qualified personnel to lead a Load In, and a Load Out. Crew leads can be hired in a variety of ways, from one day to multi day events wherever a qualified rigger is required. The lead rigger will be responsible for any and all attachments to the facility structure, inspection and approval of equipment to be suspended, and the safe and professional working practices of the rigging crew.
Through a variety of ways United Staging is able to verify that any show coming into your facility does not exceed safe working load limits on any one point. The most accurate way is to install dynameters on each point in question. United Staging can also calculate point loads for the facility or interested parties when given proper and accurate data. In some cases a licensed engineer may be required.
United Staging can provide safety inspections for permanent point installations, and make recommendations to correct any problems that may be identified.
United Staging can provide advice, labor, and materials where a facility requires permanent rigging points. We will engage an engineer to certify safe working loads should this be needed or requested.
United Staging can provide CAD drafting services. CAD drawings are often made of the facility space to include details relevant to event production, i.e., beams, doors, electrical panels, facility obtrusions etc. This service is extremely useful for clients interested in determining how their event will be staged. Our CAD drawings are electronically sent to designers and exhibiters allowing the space to be imported into their design, thus allowing a true preview of event logistics.
